Things I liked:
- Beautiful writing that had me engaged throughout the story.
- Unlike some other reviewers, I really cared about the characters. Yes, maybe I didn't necessarily like them, but I wanted to know more about them and continue to follow their journey.
- I personally felt like the author gave a good representation of not only manic depression (now known as bipolar), but caring for someone who has it.
- That conclusion was one of the most satisfying I have read in awhile.
Things I disliked:
- It is a bit long, and the beginning of the story does drag a bit.
- I do wish we had seen more of Mitchell's spiritual journey rather than have that slow beginning.
