Aaahhh this book! It ripped my heart out at the end and I could not put it down. I loved that Evangeline finally had a turning point at the end in how she communicated with Jacks, but the plot twists!!! 😱 It’s definitely a slow burn, and sometimes Evangeline made some stupid choices just to spite Jacks, which I didn’t like, but I simultaneously cannot wait to start the next book and am also terrified to read it.
