It is with a heavy heart I write this review as so many people recommend this book/series to me.
I listened to the audiobook and made it most of the way through (11 1/2 hours out of 16 hours) but I was really struggling.
I loved the characters and the writing but I just didnt like the storyline/plot
There was humour which I like, small about of love interest, no spice in the bits I listened to, but the plot just did grab me. I was struggling to keep interested in it. Without listening to the rest I am not sure if I knew where the plot was going but could take some guesses.
Normally with my DNFs I give them a 1 star this gets 2 as there were honestly some positives, but in the end, just not my cup of tea.
