Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 9 by Sui Ishida

I'm liking these characters but I have one issue, it's not a big enough deal to stop me from reading but it bugs me.
Nico's character is such a stereotype of gay men. I really, really hate how they essentially made him into a caricature for comedic effect and made him as stereotypical as possible. I know Japan has problems with representation at times but each time I see him it's uncomfortable.

Like I said, this doesn't ruin the manga for me but gosh, what a negative way to write a gay character.
