I have to warn you for some seriously NSFW-language in this review. I got angry…
I gave this book up after about 90 pages, when De Bono makes some sweeping statements about language that are obviously false, badly researched and plainly stupid. It was enough to get the gist of this book.
You might like this book if you enjoy watching people masturbate and then having an orgasm on your face. This is a disjointed, unorganised piece of shit where the author shows the size of his junk by waving it around for everybody to see.
He congratulates himself on reinventing language, solving the conflict in Northern Ireland, having the solution for the conflicts in the Middle East, for reforming major companies and China’s entire education system. Watch his dick grow in pleasure, while he puts on a red-and-yellow thinking hat.
Meanwhile he calls all forms of traditional thinking “not good enough”, but he means “stupid”. De Bono is the one and only Jesus Christ who singlehandedly will liberate mankind from its stupidity.
All this time he doesn’t cite a single source, no proof and almost no logic to why he’s wanking faster and faster. I really can’t understand why this man has gathered such a large following.
Or, to be honest, I can. You see, he has a point when he discusses the limits of traditional thinking. And he does give some useful pointers on how one could think differently. But he might have made that point with less cock wagging and on a more solid foundation. He wouldn’t have made me angry. And I might have finished his book.
