“Blood Oath,” by Kayla Cunningham

Perfect for readers who want a hero that doesn’t just become an amazing fighter in a few days. This book was incredibly good. Like I said, it was a lot of the FMC learning to be a great fighter and it didn’t happen overnight, many years in fact. I loved the characters so much, I also loved how little the two main characters actually had scene time at the same time in the book, which I felt was a unique type of plot for a book 1 and ended up really liking it. It starts off with FMC in prison, so it reminded me a lot of Throne of Glass. 5 out of 5 stars, cannot wait for book 2.
