I loved the fourth book in the Promise Falls series. I have liked the series on the whole but I did not enjoy them as much as Barclay's standalone novels. This book was very reflective of his standalone tight story with lots of suspense. You could read this one as a standalone but you will be missing out on the background stuff and some things they mention.
