The Lies That Bind
by Emily Giffin
*Slight (only slight) spoilers* This is a book I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did all the way through based on the reviews. So first let me say, if you’re looking for something other than a quirky, almost ridiculous at times, simple read... this isn’t for you. It WILL make you roll your eyes lol
It’s explores that crucial “bout to be 30” age that women go through where everything starts to be on a “timeline” — which can lead to so much uncertainty & rash decisions. With that being said it was a WILD RIDE and all 300+ pages were PAGE TURNERS. Was it predictable once the twin brother came into play? OF COURSE lol Was it a cookie cutter-type ending... (spoiler)... yeah lol But it was super enjoyable to read if you want a fast paced read for a distraction.
