Re-read
I think this may be my least favorite of the series , though that doesn't mean much since I will still gladly re-read it. Again.
It is interesting to learn about the relics , as well as see Hades working more than we have. Hades makes a lot of mistakes with Persephone here , which I get is how they get to the engagement. But for someone who has lived so long , and has Hecate, it literally could have been fixed by him just using his words.
Hera and Thesus are indeed the villains and I think this book was used to get us to that point for the war.
His response to Lexa was lacking, but the garden has his actions speak for him.
I'm happy he agrees he was dumb.
Hermes and Aphrodite were the humor.
Then we start Adriene and Dionysus story as well. A lot of set-up and info we will need for later.
