The tense and thrilling aspect of this book was excellent. I felt like I truly got jump scares while listening to the book, which I’ve never experienced before. The audio was also incredible. Very immersive. I loved two of the twists at the end, but felt like most of the other twists there was too much “left out” for the reader just to accomplish a “surprise turn of events”. The writing was excellent right up before the ending. I felt like the ending fell flat once things were revealed. The very last bit about Grady’s “end” though I thought was a clever way to wrap it all up.
