While I found the characters likable, the story itself was ultimately underwhelming. A few parts spoke to me, but it felt like it took forever to finish. Also, the sexual relationship between the two main characters felt rushed and lackluster. I understand they waited years to reach that point with one another, but it felt as if it was just thrown at the reader suddenly and focused on more than anything else for the majority of the book. All in all, it felt as though it lacked depth. Maybe this author's writing style just isn't for me.
