This story was really angsty and depressing. I hope that the closing of past history for the protagonist will allow her to move forward. It spent some time forwarding the long arc, but it suggested that the way the book arc went may have damaged the developing relationship but left that bit hanging out there unresolved.
It was, over all, pretty dark. I'm frustrated that there aren't anymore audiobooks for this series so I will have to read the rest.
