Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi

5.0

This is better than I expected and much better than the first one. I know from the first page that this book will be kick-ass till the end. And oh boy, I'm so right!

If Aria annoyed you at the first book, you wouldn't help but love her now. This girl grew a backbone and was a strong protagonist through and through. Not to mention that she's a total kickass heroine now. Another thing that I grew to love more is Perry for he is a good leader and a selfless one at that. I really adore him a lot and always find myself falling in love for him again and again. And Roar (*swoon*) is the same witty and charming character that I fell in love with. Another thing is that I grew more fond and more mystified on Cinder now. And I got a feeling that he'll be a large part on book 3.

Aside for the likable characters -- both old and new -- this novel is filled with lots and lots of action and adventure. You will never get bored tearing into this one. Plus Veronica Rossi's writing flows as smoothly as the Aether and beautiful in its own way.

Through The Ever Night is a beautiful, action-packed, and creative novel that explores danger, love and betrayal.

And from the author's own words, tighten your seatbelts people and get ready, for it's time we head Into the Still Blue...
