Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich

2.0

I can't say that I didn't like it, but I can't say that I did. Most of the book is forgetable, the plot is pretty boring and the writing is very sub-par for JE. The only real bright spot is the introduction of Diesel, whom I find intriguing, though not yet developed. I'm more in love with the idea of what she could write about using the Unmentionable plot line rather than what she is writing about. I put off reading the 'in-between-the-numbers' novels until I had read all the numbers novels first. I did this because her newer spin-off series with Diesel (Wicked series) is out now and I sort of wanted to read the prequels (if you will) in a row before I read Wicked Appetite.
