This is a gothic spicy book.  It has a Wednesday meets Dracula vibe (without vampires that is). I wanted to like this book but the pace and writing was hard to get into in the beginning.  I had moments where I wanted to DNF but I was doing a buddy read and wanted to give it a chance.  The middle and end were the best part so if you can make it to that than 👍
