I thought this was an interesting horror comedy, a haunting set in a fake IKEA. Also, the book is made as a fake catalogue, how cool!
I liked the characters, but I feel like it could have been more! There’s definitely some characterization of some of the BIPOC characters that felt flat to me.
I also was not scared a lot, it was more creepy for me than anything, but I do get the appeal for others. I’d still recommend it to horror fans, and I’m interested in what else the author has been doing.
