Not my usual choice but I really liked this story of two half-sisters who have to work on both a dilapidated beach house and their relationship. I needed a lighter choice after some heavier topics recently and this was light enough to be a fun read, while still having some moments of heart. I don't like romances and while this had some of the requisite romance tropes, the focus is squarely on the sisters.
I loved both Kat and Blake and really wanted them to work things out. There were a few " oh, really?!?" coincidences that required suspension of disbelief but for the most part, it was a believable, fun summer beach read.
