Family Secrects

Clearly, this was a enemies to lovers romance. With a mystery, component to it. While, at first the story pulled me in. As I love Greek Mythology, toward the end of the book. It kinda lost me, truthfully.

There was too much mystery behind Nora.
To the point, she kinda needed her own chapter.
Hell, I was more intrigued by Nora’s mystery than the actual novel.

But I forged on, till my eyelids got heavy, from utter boredom. I just had to finish and now. I’m just like.. that’s it? Clearly, we all knew Hades loved Persephone
And, while the lead heroine had her moments.

I was kinda just over them. Also, and this is just me being a jerk. Hades avenging Nora was funny to me.
Didn’t he perform fallacio on Persephone, when he rescued her on Halloween?

He told her he was 24 at the time, so make it make sense? Also, had I known this story would of took on such a uncomfortable topic, I would of passed, like messing with kids is just gross and reading about it. No matter how subtle the author was, made my stomach turn.

All in all, this book is about sick, rich people, who keep terrible secrets and are hang up on the past. And badly planned out revenge
