I didn’t feel like the promise of the books (“my life in seven dogs”) was fulfilled - we heard about her life and there were lots of dogs, but the dogs weren’t as clearly laid out as I had expected. The only one I really remember is Matt the Mutt 🤣 I appreciated her story and am glad to have read this, but I think the book is different from what I had expected based on the title and cover.
