Ok what a freaking amazing ride The Story of My Life was. Story Lake was the absolute perfect setting for a sad down on herself romance author (Hazel) to start anew. She wanted to draw inspiration from the picture of the hot construction worker (Campbell) she saw and the town (Story Lake) to get her out of a writing slump, and boy does she get more than she bargained for. From the moment she drives in to Story Lake hilarity ensues, getting smacked in the face by a fish by goose will have you cackling. The banter between Hazel and Campbell had me giggling the face off. The whole cast of characters from Zoey, Hazels best friend to the whole Bishop family and everyone in between were absolute perfection.  And can we talk about the amazing names for all our animal friends? Goose, Bertha, Rump Roast and Peaches! I love close small town vibes and close community.
The narrators Lila Winters and Sebastian York were the perfect pair to bring Story of My Life to life. They made be feel all the feelings with their performances.
