I feel like had I read this book a year ago when I was just getting back into reading, I would have ate it all up! And after seeing how hyped up this book is, I had high expectations which, sadly, weren’t met.

I enjoyed the story, following Lily’s life with both Atlas and Ryle in the past and present and how it all unfolded. The book did have me gripped and I found I was reading it much quicker than I normally do (partly due to the storyline but it was more so helped with the basic and easy writing style). However, some parts of the plot did feel rushed and undeveloped but I do appreciate the discussion and awareness surrounding domestic abuse.

I don’t think I will ever understand the hype over Colleen Hoover’s books, but will I be going to read the second book in this series? You bet I am!
