Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto

4.0

A daft but cosy murder mystery. I loved Vera and the delicious descriptions of her home-cooking and special tea blends.

The writing itself was a little patchy, the pacing wavered around the halfway point, most of characters weren’t very developed but I still had a good time.

It’s always a little frustrating when the murderer is a minor character, but it became clear early on that it wasn’t going to be one of the four main “suspects”, and there weren’t many others to choose from!

All in all, an enjoyable read that had me laughing out loud, and I’d gladly read more from Jesse Sutanto.
