This novella felt like a horror movie I would have rented from my local Super Duper on a Friday night. My best friend and I would sit there with our fuzzy navels, the epitome of sophistication to our teenage brains, and popcorn and wait for her brother to sneak up behind us and scare us as he always did. There is a thin plot to this story and the action begins almost immediately, but as other reviewers have said that ending was a punch to the gut.
