The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
4.0
Although I like the story of a phantom in the cellars of a opera building, I have one problem with this book. I actually have it more often with classics. It is that you're not reading a story, but merely observing the story. And in this book it is even worse. You are observing somebody who is reading the story. But nonetheless the story itself is great. It is fantasy full and I can really see it happening. It is fun to read about the opera's and the drama's, all the people who are needed to get everything rolling. And of course the phantom, who you should keep as friend... The story is a bit slow though, but still it is a lovely classic.
