I was worried about this one going into it because I really didn't like Denver after Rome's book. As the title said he was self-centered and he rubbed me the wrong way. But after reading this one, I got to know him better, I understood him a bit more and I guess he grew on me. Kind of like he did to Cleo. Denver and Cleo were fun and heartwarming and I really did fall in love with them. I was hoping for a bit more of the enemies part of their story, I felt was lacking for how much they seemed to grate on each other at the beginning. But Denver ended up being so much more than I expected and I enjoyed their story.
