The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe

A moving story of the relationship between a son and his mother and their relationships with books and reading. His mother was clearly an impressive and dedicated woman with an intellect to match. There were times when their discussions seemed artificial and a little contrived (do people REALLY talk about books like that?) but mostly interesting.
