Becoming Mrs. Benedict
by K. Webster
Finally! Finally, we get Ella’s story. I’ve been so curious about how her story would play out. I have to admit, I was on the fence about William coming back. Ever since I really got to know him in becoming Lady Thomas, I was not his fan. I had good reason for not liking him and I was even more sure of those feelings when I read this book. I’m not going to go into any more of the details about this book, because I don’t want to give anything away. Let’s just say that the phrase “Things aren’t as they seem” definitely apply’s here.
You are pulled into Ella’s story from the first page. Her story is captivating. Her character grows and transforms so much. My heart hurt for her, for the things she had to experience. I for one, devoured this book. I read it in under two hours. I just wanted to know more about Ella. Her story was one of romance, suspense, murder and steam. This book had so many great twists and turns and I loved every second of it. K. Webster, you have definitely made me a fan of historical romance!
