Ritualist by Dakota Krout
4.5
Ritualist by Dakota Krout is a fun litRPG I more or less bunged in one go.
While it wasn't perfect, the tone and voice worked very well for me, so I was immediately hooked and engaged all the way through.
The plot was a bit meandering, but there was enough action and mystery to easily make up for that.
The main character has a rare class that not much is known about, so we get to learn and discover everything right along with him. Something I especially enjoy about the genre.
While I prefer the little to no stats sort of LitRPG, so I would have liked a bit less of them, at least it wasn't a whole page at every chapter or level like in other books. As long as it's just the single stats that are gained, I'm fine, I just hate the whole list of all the stats, especially on audio.
