It started off strong, and I was hooked by the premise - though I do feel some of the tension was lost by what was revealed in the blurb personally (so if you can avoid reading the blurb do).
It has the same dark humour, and slightly unlikeable characters as the author's first book. I did chuckle at some of the lines. I did prefer the author's first book overall though, as I felt this seemed slightly more rushed and predictable. Some bits also felt unbelievable. Like the first, the ending seemed to hurtle through and I would have liked a bit more.
Crimes against women, a sad reality. This book shows them in a brutal way, making it quite difficult to stomach. Let's hope the world starts to change.
