The Last Jedi by Jason Fry
4.0

Massive improvement from the previous novelization, though honestly I read it for the Reylo fluff and I think the movie does it better. I was hoping for more insight into the potential relationship between Kylo and Rey, and the brief moments between them were not expanded upon, or were just completely breezed through (LOOKING AT YOU, SNOKE'S GUARD ROOM SCENE).

But I will say, while I found that the actors who played Finn and Rose had absolutely no chemistry, I loved the pairing in the book. They had sweet moments, and you could see how Rose's crush developed throughout their mission. Plus she was jealous of Rey, gotta love it, super realistic.

While lacking in the Reylo scenes, Fry did a good job of expanding the movie scenes more, giving us more moments with the Tico sisters, a dream of what could've been from Luke, etc. so if you are a fan of the movie (or if you are anti-Reylo and couldn't bring yourself to watch TLJ), this is a good option for you.
