Moderate: Racial slurs and Racism
After a London mansion is robbed by a group of Black men, racial slurs (or so I take it -- it's not a modern term -- they're called blackie ) and threats of racial violence are leveled at both the criminals and at innocent Black men. In the end, it turns out that most of the robbers were white men in blackface. As a white reader, what is and isn't racist isn't really my lane, but to my understanding, the book is mildly antiracist.
