Every Waking Hour by Joanna Schaffhausen

4.0

I don’t read a lot of thrillers, but I do love a mystery and Schaffhausen delivers a really good one in this book. Although this is the fourth in the Ellery Hathaway series, this is the first one I’ve read, and the author does a good job of filling in the backstory of Ellery and Reed Markham, which is so interesting that I am going to try to go back and read the first three books in this series. A child abduction forms the major part of the book, but readers will assume that an old unsolved case has something to do with this new one. I did guess some of the solution but not all of it!

Thank you to NetGalley and Minotaur Books for the opportunity to read an advance readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
