While this book is an improvement over the second in the series, I give it a 3.5 Stars. There was some character growth from newer characters like Cameron, Farley, and even Evangeline and Maven, but Cal's character still feels 2 dimensional. Evangeline's character arc also felt very abrupt and rushed. It would have been more natural if it was drawn out longer
