I ate this one up. There’s nothing more I love than single parent, small town, second chance romance!!! I’ve been so excited to read about Dusty and Cam’s relationship from the start, so having this be the last in the series was bittersweet.
The pacing of this story was great, and I think if anything more physical had happened between them early on, it would’ve felt wrong. Dusty and Cam needed to slowly work up to getting back together, starting with friendship over anything else.
I do wish that we could’ve seen Dusty and Riley’s relationship grow a little more, like we did with Teddy and Riley. She spent a lot of time in this book with the other fantastic adults in her life, so I felt like I missed out on her.
Overall this was a great read, I love the characters and this town, and I’m so sad to be leaving it!!
