Wow. What can be said about this book without sounding like a broken record? I've only finished it fifteen minutes ago, and already I find myself wishing I could read it for the first time all over again. Throughout the whole novel, I found myself on the verge of tears, without ever finding a name for the emotion that had welled up inside me. The writing is absolutely gorgeous. The plot goes nowhere and everywhere, is simultaneously significant and utterly insignificant - it is a perfect encapsulation of the human experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
