i personally loved this book, maybe a little more than the first one, despite everyone saying the middle books in trilogies are often below expectations and used just as a filler. 

maybe because i found the characters in this one more lovable, i mean…finnick and joanna have my heart. i think in the last game we hardly got interaction from other tributes, and i have a tendency to like books with more characters, so this one immediately caught me wholeheartedly. 

the ending left me wrecked, peeta and joanna got taken by the capitol, and now who knows what will happen to them? (i do, this has got to me the third time im reading the book lol)
