The only positive thing about this book was the cover. It is absolutely beautiful and that was what attracted me to this book, the synopsis was also interesting, but the cover was what sealed the deal.
Now all the negatives. The writing is poor, it is childish and amateurish. The plot is bad, it's ridiculous, over dramatised, juvenile and nonsensical in places. It felt like the author tried so hard to create a story out if something that is uninteresting, it's over stretched (not necessarily the best word to describe it, but that's it). I could go on Episode or on wattpad and 100% I would find the same story. The characters are bland. They have no depth to them, they don't act like real people, they are two dimensional and the fmc especially is an idiot. There are multiple occasions in which she acted like she has been sheltered her whole life and has never met people, there are obvious things that she simply doesn't notice, there are instances that are supposed to be hard to solve, but the solution is so clear that even a 4 year old could see it. The romance is unappealing. They have no chemistry between them. The author tries really hard to create complex characters and relationships, but she doesn't succeed.
As I've said, it feels like that author took every little issue, that can be solved by a 30 seconds conversation, and exaggerated just so that she could have some plot.
Ian is only there to create some kind of conflict. Jaewoo entering a relationship that easily after what happened to Nathaniel and acting so careless in public is dumb. Also, considering how important the cello and school audition is for Jenny she doesn't really repeat at all. Overall, a letdown.
