Fated Throne by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham

5.0

Fated Throne is book 6 in the Zodiac Academy series and picks up about 6 weeks from where book 5 ended.

Tory is Guardian Bonded to Lionel (Daddy) Asscrux and is consumed by the shadows.

Darcy and the Heirs are doing everything they can to find a way to save her.

It’s amazing how far Tory and Darcy have come since book 1.  Their strength is amazing.  It seems no matter what anyone throws at them, they become stronger and are determined to take down their enemies.  They are definitely on the way to becoming the true queen’s they are meant to be.

Bully Romance books are a new genre to me, but I have fell in love with these books.  The character development has been amazing.  I went from hating the Heirs to loving them over the course of this series.

Relationships

Orion & Darcy – We know in book 5 Orion sacrificed himself to protect Darcy when everyone found out about their relationship, even though it meant he broke his promise to her and broke her heart.  He is now out of Darkmore Penitentiary and has some serious making up to do to get Darcy back and get her to trust him again.

Darius & Tory – They are still star-crossed and things are even harder now that she is Guardian Bonded to Lionel and wants to be near him, even though she knows she hates him and wants him dead.  They have both realised how much they love each other and they will try anything to defy the stars.

Caleb & Seth – So many close encounters with these two.  They just need to get it on already.

Max & Geraldine – I love these two.  They do want to be together, however Geraldine is set on going ahead with her arranged marriage.  I don’t know how Geraldine comes up with some of the things that come out of her mouth, but she is hilarious.  The way Max has to try and keep covering her up when she keeps getting naked.

Two characters who seriously need to die – Lionel and his Shadow Princess Clara/Lavinia (I knew there was more to Clara).

This book ends on another cliffhanger (obviously) and I can’t wait to jump into book 7 but at the same time wary as I know I have to wait until December for book 8.

At least I have the different spinoff series to fall back on.

If you haven’t yet read this series, then pick it up. You don’t know what you are missing.
