I thought this book was just okay. The characters weren't very likeable, but there were some interesting parts in the middle of the book. I didn't like the ending at all, though. Is it okay for our fantasy heroes to kill people and not at least feel guilty about it? It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be reading the rest of the series.
