I loved the characters. I loved the storyline (although, reflecting on the ending, I did get a little confused about a couple of spoilery points. No matter). The biggest issue--and what knocked this down to three stars--was the writing. It got better as the book went on, but in early chapters it was very clunky. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish it, it was that bad. Fortunately, as I said, it got better as the book went on! Unfortunately, as much as I liked the universe of "Cemetery Boys" and loved the characters, I'm not sure I'll read any future installments of the Cemetery Boys.
