This book is a perfect relaxing, low stakes romance. Cute and fun doggos and a growing romance. I love Farrah Rochon's writing. Her Dating Playbook series is one of my favorite rom-com series. The story is engaging and the characters are loveable.
I especially love Mrs. Francis. That woman is a force to be reckoned with and I love her. The sass, the matchmaking, the slight extortion. All of it wrapped up in a badass lady with a dog named Puddin'.
The romance between Ashanti and Thad grew quickly but also pretty naturally. No insta love. A nice slow burn with a 🌶️🌶️ rating. Open door, but not especially graphic. It's a good time.
