Invisibility by Andrea Cremer
3.0
Stephen is cursed. Legitimately, completely, fully. Cursed to be invisible to everyone, even his own mother. He's gotten used to it after living 16 years with that condition, there's little else you can do. But Stephen knows one thing--he misses human connection.
Elizabeth is new to New York. Her mom and brother have moved with her to new city, ready to get a fresh start. Desperate for this opportunity, Elizabeth is ready to make friends. And she does.
In Stephen.
Somehow, by some chance miracle, Elizabeth can see the invisible boy. And together they are drawn together as they try to untangle the web of lies and magic surrounding each other.

I felt like the tone was off with this book. The connection between the magic and the mundane just didn't feel natural.
