How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

4.0

This book was originally recommended to me by my mother. She has said repeatedly over the years that most of my problems ought to be solved by this one title. Though that is a grandiose claim, after completing Carnegie's masterpiece I do not disagree. This easy-to-read advice book taught me a lot about interpersonal relations and how to make the most of each interaction.

I liked his conversational tone and the pace/rhythm that the collection of stories builds up. At the end I whittled down the major lessons and will take those ideas with me throughout life. I hope that this book shows me how to be a better friend and communicator.
