All's well that ends's well... But if the end isn't well then is everything else unwell?
Sally Diamond is a strange woman, who throws the body of her late father in the garbage because he said that. Underneath this strangeness is a dark secret but the true highlight is the journey of healing, friendships, and more.
I wish the writer would have focused more on that. Alas, around half way through, the book began to refocus on a different journey; with rough hikes that are vastly different than that of Sally. From this point onwards, my eagerness to read another chapter began to fade.
However, my heart from this book was completely lifted by the last 10 pages. If I had known the ending then I might never have picked this book. Therefore, I am glad that I dived in with minimal information.
Because even if the end isn't satisfying and something that one can not simply rationalize as reality; the book overall is worth a read.
Therefore, I recommend you to dive into it, enrich the experience, and then throw the book away, delete from your device forever or might as well right an alternate ending.
