1.5/5 🌶️
Alright, alright this book was CUTE. I really liked it! I am giving it 4/5 stars mainly because the FMC was a bit whiny and self-deprecating for my liking, but otherwise I really enjoyed this book and flew through it. I was mostly able to put Olive's attitude aside, but other readers may feel differently.
There were definitely some lessons learned and a nice dose of character development, which of course I enjoyed. I found myself stifling a lot of laughs (um, and possibly snorts) while I was reading this.
I loved this cast of characters, and I thought that Olive and Ethan's banter was just SO good. Their both such shitheads and it was such a mostly lighthearted, fast-paced, and enjoyable read. Also things get a little MESSY, and who doesn't love a good dose of messiness in a rom com? I loved the whole plot, and this is one of those books that swept me away for a bit.
