I’m pretty into this one! Mostly romance with a dash of suspense. I clocked the bad guy pretty quick, but not so much that it felt super obvious that the characters would’ve missed it.
I really adored that they both had to grow in order to trust they could be together. I loved that Myles had his own praise kick and needs, and that even if he didn’t know how to express them, Taylor could still find a way to meet them.
This felt more insta-lust than insta-love, which is something I can get behind. Especially with these two and where they were coming from in their lives, I’m glad that there remained a bit of antagonism in their relationship while they figured each other out.
I wish there was slightly more of an ending - in particular would’ve wanted to hear more about Myles’ development after our last chapter, but it felt resolved enough, and I love that the epilogue mentionedthat they were taking things slow, and got engaged after two years.
