the romance and their chemistry chefs kiss* I was super invested, absolute page turner
The plot? Honestly I was super confused by most of it because it didn’t follow the first book very well - however, towards the very end it did get a lot more interesting. It was super frustrating tryin to follow her motivations throughout the first 2/3rds of it though.
I think it definitely did a 180 on the plot to romance ratio from the last book and completely different vibes. Almost feels like a different series
