Richly woven words.“Babel“ is an epic story that speaks deeply to the topics of colonialism, racism and classism.
I devoured the 23 hour long audiobook in less than five days!
Enchanting.It’s just a shame that the trope of tragically killing gay characters is taken to the extreme. The subtext makes clear that they fell in love the first week they met, but that fact is “hidden” throughout the rest of the story until the very end.
