I loved Beth (especially the way her voice came through) and thought this was an incredibly honest look at motherhood. Beth's entire family were really interesting to read about as well and I am really excited to get my hands on the other Callaghan Sisters books.
I guess that I wasn't really the target audience for this book, although I usually do enjoy stories like this. I didn't think this book was funny (as marketed), but rather a shocking, seemingly honest and very rarely talked about, look at what it's like to be a first-time parent.
I do think that there is an audience out there who will adore Beth's story. It really does read well.
