I Stay up until 2 AM listening to this audiobook while doing homework, and I was spooked! I don't scare easily when it comes to horror or thrillers, but this book had me constantly looking over my shoulder- it genuinely felt like someone was watching me. The eerie atmosphere, the unsetting tension, and the way the story slowly crept under my skin made it one of the scariest books I've read in a while.
The plot was gripping from the start, with a slow-building dread that kept me hooked. The writing created such vivid, eerie imagery that I could see everything playing out in my head like a horror movie.
There were moments when I had to pause just to take a breath because the suspense was that intense.
And the narration? phenomenal. The narrator didn't just read the story- they performed it. The voice acting, the pacing and the way they delivered every chilling moment made it feel even more immersive. I honestly think listening to this in audiobook format made it even scarier than if I had read it physically.
If you love horror that gets under your skin, keep an eye out for this one!
Release date: 3/17
Highly recommend the audiobook version!
